National Instruments PXI-8461

The PXI-8461/2 is a 2-port high-speed controller area network (CAN) interface designed for communicating with high-speed CAN devices up to 1 Mb/s. NI PXI-CAN modules use the Philips SJA1000 CAN controller for advanced functionality such as listen-only, self-reception (echo), and advanced filtering modes and new transceivers for sleep/wake-up mode support. Each CAN interface is shipped with NI-CAN device driver software. You can synchronize CAN, DAQ, vision, and motion boards using the PXI trigger bus. PXI-846x Series 2 modules are designed to work with LabVIEW Real-Time for deterministic control applications. All NI CAN interfaces meet the physical and electrical requirements for in-vehicle (automotive) networks based on CAN.
