The EXFO FOT-910 is a Fiber Optic Test Set with Singlemode 1310nm, 1550nm. EXFO’s FOT-910 automated attenuation/ORL test set is an advanced-technology testing device, designed to save time and money by increasing the efficiency of fiber-testing crews. The FOT-910 measures relative loss (dB), absolute power (dBm), back-reflection (dB), and transmission equipment source stability. It tests bi-directional loss on a single fiber in 33 seconds. Single- or dual-wavelength (850/1300 nm or 1310/1550 nm) loss tests can be performed at the touch of a FasTesT button. On-site reference capability eliminates side-by-side source and meter referencing. Test results can be automatically stored in the non-volatile 680 register memory and printed out in report form. Stringent transmission requirements for high-bandwidth applications demand precise network component and connector back-reflection measurements. The FOT-910 measures back-reflection from 0 dB to -55 dB easily and stores the readings for fast reference.
